Community Climate Lab (CCL) is a community of researchers, students, and professionals from India, who are united by a common goal of addressing the challenges of climate change through interdisciplinary research and communication. The community is built on the belief that the complex and pressing issues related to climate change can only be effectively solved through collaboration and integration of knowledge and expertise from different fields, as well as effective communication of the research findings to different stakeholders.

To achieve this goal, CCL operates as an open-source community, where students, including undergraduate students, and working professionals from a wide range of disciplines come together to develop data-driven solutions to the problems associated with climate change. The community is comprised of individuals from diverse backgrounds, including but not limited to environmental science, computer science, engineering, economics, and policy.

The research carried out by the community is focused on developing innovative and sustainable solutions to address the impacts of climate change on various sectors such as agriculture, energy, water, and urban development. The community also aims to engage with policy makers, industry leaders, and the general public to promote the adoption and implementation of these solutions through effective communication of the research findings.

The importance of undergraduate research is also acknowledged in the community, as it allows students to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the community's research efforts.

Overall, Community Climate Lab is a dynamic and collaborative community that is dedicated to finding practical and effective solutions to the urgent problem of climate change through interdisciplinary research and communication. Through its inclusive approach, CCL is working together to create a more sustainable future for all.
